Life of the Party, 2018

Life of the Party is just darling.  Not so much on the funny side.  However, we rarely enjoy a, "Cute," movie.  We did this one.  We like the way that the story began and the way that it ended.

Life of the Party, 2018Life of the Party begins with a divorce.  Deanna (Melissa McCarthy) has dropped her daughter Maddie (Molly Gordon) off for college and husband Dan (Matt Walsh) announces that he wants a divorce.

Deanna goes to college herself and wins over everyone who matters.

She graduates with her daughter.

Christine: Case adjourned.

Dan: I don't know why you're laughing.  Frank's not great downstairs either.
We play tennis together and Frank is no big deal down there.

Deanna: Oh, Fella.  Close your robe.

Deanna: You are screaming about ham!

Maddie: Please, I do not want to talk about your vagoogle.
