Winchester (2018)

We were transfixed.

If you stop to think about all of the spiritual insight, it's dumbfounding. Even for an award-winning film, there's just so much to think about.  Helen Mirren as Sarah Winchester was perfect as the guilt-laden heiress of the Winchester estate.

Sarah kept contractors occupied around the clock, 24-hours a day.  In fact, clocks went off at midnight as she considered this a spiritual hour.  She had workers imprison the angry souls of those who were taken out with a Winchester.  These special rooms were then secured with 13-nails, as deemed necessary.

The back-and-forth with Lady Winchester and daughter-in-law Sarah Snook as Marion Marriott, as they sometimes wrestled with Jason Clarke as Dr. Eric Price was intelligent and obnoxious from one who has been educated to do counseling.

The depth of Sarah Winchester's mental state is better understood when it's explained as well as Winchester does.

The film is a work of art.
