Give People Money. Annie Lowrey

Full Title: Give People Money: How a Universal Basic Income Would End Poverty, Revolutionize Work, and Remake the World

Lowrey has completely researched the UBI and what it would/could mean, on a grander scale than is currently utilized.  Intended recipient's are everyone.  However, when we state that, we realize that part of the reason why this hasn't already been instituted on a grander scale is because the powers that be are looking for a way to push this along with their already-in-existence agendas or some ill-researched idea.

We do not buy the hype that the extra $1,000.00 per month for every citizen of a given country would encourage laziness and/or the purchase of alcohol and smokes.  We find this insulting, even.  Yes.  There would be those few who would do so.  And?

What about the referenced family with all of the kids whose mother is working two jobs because the husband is very ill?  What about the families is Africa and the Asian countries who are needlessly suffering?  Hmmm?

A UBI would wipe out the need for certain financially programs for the poor, the homeless and those with many, unsupported babies.
