Tanteo Habanero Tequila (Blanco): T.G.I.F. Cocktail Recipes: August 11

Last month, Tanteo announced a new habanera-infused tequila and it is incredible. We liked the jalapeno-infused too. This one is much stronger. The cough and the burn are vivid. However, it goes away with the proper chaser and it's incredibly proper.

While Puerto Rico's salsa queen Olga Tanon would classify us as a, "Mujer de Fuego," (Woman on fire), we would classify us as one who was exposed to the fire, yet, not ensconced with the fire. YES!

Finally, we would be remiss if we did not add that this makes an incredible Bloody Maria, it's awesome with both tropical and citrus fruits and is infused with real peppers in Jalisco, Mexico.

Recipes:

Bloody H*ll
2 Oz Tanteo Habanero Tequila
3 Oz Bloody Mary Mix

Rim a Collins glass with salt, celery salt or old bay. Combine ingredients with ice in glass. Stir to mix flavors. Garnish with something creative (like a plastic dinosaur, just to get a (reaction).

Buna Salud Margarita
2 Oz Tanteo Habanero Tequila
1 Oz Mango Puree
 1 Oz Fresh Lime Juice
1/4 Oz Agave Nectar (or Simple Syrup)

Combine ingredients in a shaker with ice. Shake well and strain into a salt-rimmed, ice-filled rocks glass. Garnish with a lime wedge.

Tanteo Habanero Tequila (Blanco): T.G.I.F. Cocktail Recipes: August 113/4 Oz Tanteo Habanero Tequila
1.5 Oz Rye Whiskey
1 Oz Fresh Lemon Juice
1 Oz Maple Syrup

Combine ingredients in a shaker with ice. Shake well and strain into a salt-rimmed Coupe glass. Garnish with a lemon peel.

Vero Margarita
 2 Oz Tanteo Habanero Tequila
1 Oz Mango Puree
1 Oz Fresh Lime Juice

Combine ingredients in a shaker with ice. Shake well and strain into a salt-rimmed, ice-filed rocks glass. Stir well and garnish with a lime wedge.
