The lamp is very sensitive to the touch. This is nice when you are fumbling around in the dark, looking to turn it on. It's bright too. I realized this when I was sitting in one room and peaking out into the kitchen where the lamp sat. It was really bright. It's hard to think that a light with a yellowish hue would be so bright.
The flower vase is another positive aspect of this product. You'll note from the attached image that I have yet to pot it. I may not. I like the idea of placing something simple into it.
The vase area gives the buyer an aspect of creativity. In fact, I like my photo of this lamp better than the one attached to the Amazon page. But, that image does better show the product.
