It's really good. It's way better than The Blair Witch Project. It does well to keep your attention. However, from what we've seen about the craft of Braja, it is inherently wrong and will hurt practitioners at one point of another. For instance, some Braucha remove illnesses from others. But, they don't process it or heal it. They just take it on themselves. It doesn't sound smart.
Was the movie shocking for us? No. Perhaps, because we lived in Seminole, Texas for a year or so and got to know some of the Mennonite practitioners there. It was educational and always interesting. Some of their basic ideas about life seem completely bizarre. So, no. We were not and are not surprised by the concept of Amish witches.
