Thank you Colby Martin. For speaking the truth. For being the truth.
Quotes:
If you feel drawn to a more inclusive faith, but are held back by what you've been taught about the Bible, then UnClobber is for you.
That silence is a really big deal.
When LGTBQ youth are four times more likely to attempt suicide than their straight peers, and then eight times more likely to attempt suicide when they live in a home with a family that rejects them, I think we're misusing the Bible.

About Colby Martin:
Colby Martin grew up in Oregon, spent less than six years outside Phoenix, and now inhabits America's Finest City: San Diego. While there, he's pretentious about his coffee and craft beer, he fails at learning to surf, he cuts his own hair, and he blogs intermittently (don't we all?)
Along with his wife and Co-Pastor, Kate, he started San Diego's Progressive Christian Church in the spring of 2014, and lo it hath been called, "Sojourn Grace Collective."
He is also the creator and author of UnClobber: Rethinking Our Misuse of the Bible on Homosexuality. Through the book, video lectures, and live events, Colby shares his story of how lining up his head and heart on the issue of homosexuality in the Bible led him to getting fired from his church and ultimately starting something new. UnClobber also explores what the Bible does (and does not) say about homosexuality.
Colby, Kate, and their four boys enjoy playing Monopoly, roasting marshmallows, watching Girl Meets World, and making every night "Taco Night."
